Darwen is situated in the valley to the south of near neighbours Blackburn. Darwen Football Club has been in existence since 1875, and boasts many major successes (and failures). We currently compete in the North West Counties League Division One, and also support several Junior Teams as well as many local leagues and charitable organizations by donation of The Anchor Ground for important events.
