Ground Regulations

 

In the interests of spectator comfort and safety, the following conditions apply at The Anchor Ground, and must by observed at all times.
  • Matches played at The Anchor Ground are subject to the rules and regulations of the Football Association, the Lancashire Football Association, and any other body responsible for the fixture.  For Darwen F.C. games this includes the North West Counties Football League.
  • Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, glasses, knives, needles, darts, tools, fireworks or any other articles likely, in the opinion of the management, to cause injury or inconvenience to others are not permitted.  Management reserves the right to conduct security searches on entry and to confiscate such articles.
  • It is an offence to consume alcohol on the ground of a football match.  Alcohol may by purchased and consumed in the bar area only.
  • Children are not allowed in the club room unless accompanied by an adult, and will not be served at the bar.
  • The chanting of racist or obscene comments, or any other actions liable to cause offence, is strictly forbidden.
  • Encroachment onto any playing area is forbidden before during and after the match without the express permission of the referee and/or club staff. Parents are reminded this also applies to children.
  • For the convenience of others, please do not stand in front of the seated areas.
  • In the event of an emergency, instructions will be given via the public address system.  Please listen carefully to any instructions and comply immediately.  This also applies to any instructions given by ground stewards or members of club staff.
  • Cars parked in the car-park are parked entirely at the owners risk.  No liability will be accepted for any loss or damage to property.  Please refrain from parking in any designated reserved area, including in front of any gates or emergency exits.
  • Management accepts no responsibility to for any personal property brought onto the ground.
  • Entry to the ground implies acceptance of these regulations, and the club reserves the right to exclude from the premises anyone who, in the opinion of the management, is in breach of these regulations.
